This year the Center for Teaching Excellence is assisting the Committee on Teaching with the Brown Teaching Grant proposal process.

Those who are interested in learning more about the proposal process or about the grants themselves are invited to a workshop on Monday, February 4th, from noon-1:00 in Herring 129.  The workshop will feature Bruce Weisman, Professor of Chemistry and Chair of the Brown Teaching Grant subcommittee, who will discuss the criteria used by the committee when selecting recipients.  Other faculty will also offer brief presentations on their experience applying for and receiving these teaching grants.  Q&A will follow.
